Limestone Repair
From September 1997 to April 2000 I worked supervising and participating in the installation of the French limestone exterior and site walls on a project in the mid Atlantic region. In the Spring of 2007 a very large tree from the neighboring property fell onto this house in a violent wind storm. The owners contacted me about making the repair. I removed the damaged stone and flew to France with a sample to arrange the production of matching stone for the repair at the quarry that had originally provided material for the project. The new stone arrived several months later and we made the new installation. These images show the damage and the repair.
